Elma & Stephen

I've been to a lot of weddings and every wedding has been full of love but this one tipped the scales. There were a lot of people at this wedding and it's no mystery why. Elma and Stephen are truly loved and deservingly so. They really couldn't be any sweeter. The couple vowed before God and all of their many family members and friends (from all over the world) on February 28th to love each other for all eternity. It was lovely.

"Thank you, Elma and Stephen for letting me be a part of your wedding. It's been a blessing and a privilege."

A Little Something for the Fans.

I am hosting a "Fans Are Nice" event in appreciation of all of my Facebook fans. From now till March 31st my Facebook fans get 10% off any photo session or wedding booked during this month. That's a savings of up to $700. Just to clarify - this doesn't mean you have to get married or schedule your session for this month... you just have to reserve a future date this month. (Of course March is a nice month to get your picture taken so if you're ready to go I have a couple of slots available.)

This is a special discount for all of my Facebook fans only. Not yet a fan? Become one and take part in this special promotion. But hurry... this promotion ends March 31 and space is limited. To become a fan or view more details on this event click here.

For details on availability you may contact me at kelly@kellyisnice.com or by phone at 678.457.1932

Thanks for being a fan.

My Etsy

In my life I have had many creative endeavors. Photography was the first one that seemed to stick - the first one I was truly good at. But I am an artist first and photography is a form of expression for me. Recently I began messing around with Jewelry making as another creative outlet and found that I really, really enjoy it. Like my photography, the things I create aren't for everyone. But I'm sure there are some others out there that will enjoy the things I have made. So, I've created my own Etsy site so that I can share my creations with others.

Etsy, for those of you who don't know, is a site for all things hand made and/or vintage.  It's a wonderful place where all the creative people in the world can sell their creations for others to enjoy.  Kind of like ebay but more specific and without the bidding.

My Etsy Shop is now open for business. I only have a few things posted right now but there is more to come.  Enjoy.

Be Mine, Valentine.

It was a very special Valentine's Day for Judy Stovall and Merrill Walker this year because they pledged to spend the rest of their lives together. It doesn't get much more romantic than that. The ceremony took place at Rhodes Hall, a beautiful 105 year old mansion on Peachtree Street and headquarters for the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. All of the proceeds for booking their spot went to support the Georgia Trust’s preservation mission. It was a very beautiful wedding that supported a very good cause. Congratulations to the happy couple. If you would like to view their album and slideshow please click here.
